The NFL has announced the finalists for the NFL Honor Season, which will take place on February 5.
All awards will be a tight race this year, including the Most Valuable Player award, which appears to be down to Rams‘ Matthew Stafford and Patriots‘ Drake Maye.
While there will be some complaints about the winners of awards and who some people thought should have won, a few players were snubbed from being on the award shortlists.
An award with a noticeable withhold is the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, which appears to lack one of the top-performing rookies this season.
Colts Rookie Missing

The Offensive Rookie of the Year finalist, but there was a certain well-performing tight end missing from the list.
Indianapolis Colts rookie Tyler Warren was not named as one of the five finalists for the award after having a good season on a team that was dealing with quarterback issues.
Daniel Jones suffered two injuries in the latter half of the season that forced him to end his season earlier. Warren even caught some passes from a formerly retired Philip Rivers, who came back to the league to help the Colts achieve a playoff spot. The former Penn State Nittany Lion also had fellow 2025 NFL draft class rookie Riley Leonard throw his way for a few catches.
In all, Warren recorded 817 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns on 76 receptions this season, while also getting a touchdown in the run game.
The rookie had the fifth-most receiving yards compared to other tight ends in the 2025 NFL season. Warren was the third-best-performing rookie of the season in terms of receiving yards.
It can’t be overstated how Warren overperformed on a team where the latter half of the season wasn’t the best for the Colts.
Tyler Warren Does Earn Some Recognition

While Tyler Warren will not win the coveted Offensive Rookie of the Year award, he has gotten noticed along the way.
The Colts’ rookie earned a Pro Bowl nod, the first of his career, as an alternate to Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, who is currently dealing with an injury.
Warren also received notice from the Pro Football Writers Association, as he was named to the All-Rookie team.
The rookie has shown that he more than belongs in the NFL and is poised for a successful career.
Daniel Jones was playing his best football yet and possibly returning to Indianapolis, reuniting with Warren could put the duo into one of the better QB-TE duos in the league when they build up the chemistry again.
