PS Plus May 2026 free PS5 games – Here’s when Sony will announce line-up | Gaming | Entertainment

Written by Source

PS Plus subscribers are awaiting confirmation about the next batch of releases for the Essentials tier in May. The free PS5 games for May will be officially announced at 4.30pm BST on the afternoon of April 29. The games will be available to download and install less than a week later, specifically on the morning of May 5. Of course, there’s a good chance the games will leak early, so keep checking back for the latest PlayStation Plus updates.

Without any leaks to speak of, subscribers have been attempting to predict the line-up over on Reddit.

Multiple fans believe Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered could make an appearance, which makes sense given its predecessor joined the service in April.

Atomic Heart continues to receive multiple picks, alongside the likes of Final Fantasy 16, Star Wars Outlaws and Rematch.

With the football season coming to an end, there are also lots of picks for annual football sim EA FC 26.

Elsewhere, there are picks for Dragon’s Dogma 2, Bramble The Mountain King, Bubsy Collection and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered.

As a reminder, the May line-up will replace the current batch of games, which are headlined by Soulslike Lords of the Fallen.

The action RPG features a dark fantasty setting, complete with a unique dual-world mechanic that’s used to overcome certain obstacles.

Subscribers can also grab Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, as well as Tomb Raider I – III Remastered.

The Tomb Raider collection features upgraded versions of the original trilogy from the PSOne.

The games can be played using the original visual style, or with improved graphics and modern controls.
